Model Generation - Space frame is the 3D environment of STAAD/Pro-QSE.  Various tools exist to make operations such as geometry creation, copying, updating and assigning a breeze.

Graphical Environment - General
Object oriented graphical environment. User friendly Page Control to simplify creating models to the absolute basics. Many methods for model generation (see below). Simple manipulation of 3D models using the arrow keys on the keyboard as though you were moving around the structure. Page sensitive Toolbars with Tool Tip Help. Multiple views when you need to look at details of larger, more complex models. Work with multiple structures for when it is necessary to compare data on screen.
Model Generation
Create Model using the native Graphical Environment, Spreadsheet style input, DXF or SXF files. Repeat frames in either translational or circular directions. Mirror, Rotate, Copy and Paste selected beams. Insert Node tool to split beams. Comprehensive range of internationally available steel section databases. Dynamic zoom and rotation capability. User configurable Grid for accurately drawing nodes and beams onto the structure. Offset Members, Semi Rigid Connections.
